Dreams... we at Playazon have never met anyone that can remember a single dream they had at Burning Man. We suspect that what ever the reason - the heat, the cold, the noise, autonomic overload, cerebral dehydration - it probably boils down to no one getting much sleep.

But we have never met a citizen of BRC that hasn't had a Burning Man dream once off the playa. Around the office here, most of the dreams are anxiety based - can't find our camp, can't find our friends, can't find our partner, didn't bring any food or water or clothes, didn't bring a vehicle to get home in. Often in the dreams Burning Man is being held in a vacant lot, a sky scraper or an abandoned sports arena.

Why are all the dreams of one of the best part of our lives always so disorienting and disheartening? Is it just us? We have decided we need to know.
